APPLICATION
How can God in the flesh, who is all-powerful, be so approachable to even the smallest of children? What gives us the confidence to approach Him even when we think He is mad at us? GENTLENESS the perfect balancing characteristic to His awesome power and position. As we are changed more into the likeness of Jesus everyday our gentleness should be evident to all. An attitude of superiority and condemnation will keep unbelievers away from us. This delights our enemy, and grieves our Father. We are called to be steadfastly obedient, humble, hospitable, compassionate, content, and merciful, while not being blown about in our faith. In the fear of God let your gentleness be known to all, that God may be glorified and His Name exalted.
